Personality: A quirky filly, Defiant has had lots of time to figure out ways to entertain herself. If it's tipping feed or water buckets in the morning, deliberately being lazy during her workouts, or playing with tack left out by the barn staff, she's found plenty of ways to keep everyone around her on their toes. She is fairly mild mannered though, even in her trouble making moments. Her laziness does show in her race performances, however. She may jump out of that gate really quickly, but she's more than happy to sit back and relax most the way around the track. After a while she gets bored and starts a slow climb, passing one or two horses before she's happy with where she's at unless her jockey can urge her forward at just the right moment.
